Multi Screen Projection show

From the start of the production, it was clear to me that we needed to create very detailed models of each of the star aircraft. We had around 80+ shots, all of which required some form of post production. This ranged from, all flying sequences being generated as CG, gun pyros, smoke trail pyros, environments both ground and air, nissan hut clean up, aircraft on the airfield generated, real aircraft serial markings needed replacing with the featured squadron, animated cockpit dials for cut aways, fix to airman's boot sole to correct style, airfield and surroundings clean up, keying of green screen shots of pilots in prop cockpit and the real Hurricane in the hanger. All of which became a huge logistical challenge, but a pleasure all the same.

viewer interactive

Using the elements created for the main show, we then produced an interactive that enabled the viewer to see across the channel and witness the development of an air battle between the RAF and the luftwaffe. The action is all pre-rendered but the viewer is able to pan around the scene and follow aspects of interest. The environment image has been recreated to reflect the view as seen from folkestone at the time of the Battle of Britain.

Flight simulator

We converted the assets from the original show into a game engine format. Additionally we needed to create the cockpit dials for the game engine to control.
