projection mapping on to baths, 2017

We were commissioned to create 3 x sequences for projection mapping on to rooms at the Roman Baths. Several green screen shots required keying, clean up, rotoscoping and compositing. For the bathing sequence we needed to generate water plus additional props.

massarge paler UPDATE, 2011

I was supplied a shot against black, which had been originally projection mapped onto a wall in the Baths. I was briefed to add more detail regarding the movement of heat through the floor and walls. Working with the curators at Bath, we created a scene to composite the original footage into.

temple pediment, 2010

There were three parts to this project. Recreation of the complete Temple Pediment were modelled in Z-Brush. Secondly, we needed to show how the Pediment would have been originally coloured. The third, and more complex part of the project, was, to take the complete image and manipulate it so that it registered up with the remaining blocks now mounted on to the wall. This was achieved physically in software, instead of using a hardware solution at cost.
